This wedding was no different. Jennifer Miller and Kelly McDonald got married on May 23rd in Jackson. We were fortunate enough to cover the event.

This is the Dotson Family – Steve and Stacie and their 4-year old, Grant (who could just be the cutest kid ever).
They were a breeze to shoot. So photogenic and natural in front of the camera. Here are a few of my favs from their session (well maybe more than just a few – I have trouble deciding)
The Southeast Music Academy held 6 recitals this week (3 on Monday evening and another 3 on Tuesday).
Music students ranging in age from Pre-K up through high school and collage displayed their musical talents. Some sang while others played an instrument (harp, flute, piano, violin, cello and others), and one of the recitals was devoted just to the performances of compositions written by the students. It was quite impressive.

Jackson High School’s annual Pop Concert was this weekend, and what a great show it was. There are so many talented kids at JHS and Mrs. Shinn and Mrs. St. John do such a great job of putting on this show. It really was a joy to watch (and hear)

Melissa is the last person we’re shooting for our modeling program this year. She came over this evening and had a great time. The camera just loves her. Enjoy a few shots from her session below.
This was a family session that we shot about a week ago. I love that the weather is getting nicer and that the flowers are starting to come out. It makes outside shooting so much more fun . . . and this family was so great. Rachel and I had such a great time with them. Here are a few favorites from their session.
