A few weeks ago, Lexie Rollet came in for her senior session. Lexie is from Perryville High School and not only is she a really fun girl, she’s also great in front of the camera. Since Lexie is a swimmer, I suggested we do some water shots. Both in and out of the water. In fact I even went underwater with her for a few shots with my underwater housing for my camera. It was an absolute blast and we got some awesome senior pictures for Lexie.
I know I haven’t posted much personal/family stuff recently so here’s a chance to catch you up a bit. I won’t bore you with all the details but Zane has just been too cute lately. Something tells me he’s going to be the class clown and the star of the school play.
Every night when we go to bed, Zane has his routine that he must follow. It involves brushing his teeth first and then saying his prayers which starts with “Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep” and then progresses into praying for all our family and friends (by the way, daddy put the pillow on his lap one night several months ago and now everyone MUST pray with a pillow on their lap. Don’ t you know it’s the only correct way to talk to God? – just watch the video below and you’ll see what I’m talking about), and then he lays in bed with mommy and daddy for a little bit and then finally going to his own “big-boy” bed (his 2nd birthday gift from mom and dad which he’s quite proud of).
The video below is just a little glimpse into our nighttime routine. Enjoy!
This is Stephanie Smith. We shot her session back in October of last year, but I realized just the other day, I hadn’t posted any of her pictures on my blog. And that’s a shame cause there’s some really unique shots in here. It’s not every day that you get a girl this fun, with hair this red and this curly along side a car this cool!
The car you see in the pictures below is a one of a kind 1973 Motion Manta Ray Corvette. It actually belongs to Stephanie’s grandfather, Rayburn Pennington. It was one of only three ever built and this one is the only known survivor of those three in the entire world. So pretty cool, right? You can read more about the car by clicking here.
But enough about the car. Here’s a few favorites from Stephanie’s session.
