I applaud your decision Tyson. I too was a school teacher and made the same type of decision some 31 years ago and haven’t looked back. Not having a steady income is kind of scary, but, hard work will overcome this. Remember, there may be 100′s of so called photographers, however, there are only a very few that really work at it. You have the work ethic that it takes to become successful and you can only reach your full potential by working for yourself and not somebody else. Twenty years from now you and Rachel will look back and wonder why you did not do this sooner. Good luck and see you at the next wedding!

I always enjoy seeing your work in photography! Such unique pictures that capture the special times in people’s lives. I also enjoyed hearing your work at school through your students voices in concerts and events. Your influence in their lives always shined through and will be with them for a long time to come; inspiring some of them to follow a career of music in your path, as well. God bless you in any adventures you pursue in life!

(So what is this I hear about you and my daughter having a race in office chairs around school on your last day????
