A Rising Star!

Sunday, September 18th, 2011

We shot senior pictures for Maggie Thorn this week.  Maggie is a super sweet, super beautiful and SUPER Talented young lady.  If you have a chance to check out her facebook music page, take a minute and click here to give her a listen (you’ll be hooked – I guarantee it!)

I have a feeling you’ll be seeing Maggie’s name a whole lot more in the coming years.

Maggie, thanks for choosing Zahner Photography for your senior pictures.  It was our honor to shoot them!

Back to School Sale . . . 35% off in September!!

Wednesday, August 24th, 2011

Do you know a Class of 2012 high school senior that hasn’t had their senior pictures made yet?  If so, pass this information on to them RIGHT AWAY!

School’s back in session, but it’s not too late to get your senior pictures done.  In fact, fall is our busiest time of year.  The heat is subsiding, the days are getting shorter and the light is getting sweeter.

So we’re offering a 35% off Back to School special for any senior that gets their pictures made during the month of September.  That’s right!  Any session shot during the month of September will save 35% off of the session fee.

AND . . . if you call before next Friday, Sept. 2nd, we’ll give you an additional 15% off for a grand total of 50% off your sitting fee.

So don’t WAIT!   Give us a call today and get your senior session on the books for the month of September and save BIG.

One VERY “HOT” senior girl!

Tuesday, August 16th, 2011

Taylor Bollinger is certainly a beautiful young lady, but that’s not what I mean by “hot” (that would be terribly inappropriate and a little creepy).  What I mean is that we had a 115 degree heat index during Taylor’s session so she was, indeed, one VERY “HOT” senior girl.

Even through the heat, she was toughing it out, and we had a great session with some really unique images.

Here are a few favorites from Taylor’s session.

Bloomfield Senior

Friday, August 12th, 2011

This is Courtney Delay from Bloomfield High School (down by Dexter – or if you’re from there . . . “Dayckterrr” . . . I think that’s how them southern folk say it).

Anyway, we had a great session with Courtney today.  Here are a few favorites from her session.

Kelton and his guitar

Thursday, August 11th, 2011

So I’ve been seriously slacking in my blog posts this season.  There . . . I admit it . . . and admission is the first step toward change, right?  We’ve just been so busy lately.  like 10 hour days EVERY day for the past several weeks.

Anyway, enough excuses.  To make up for it, I’m going to make 2 blog posts today to make up for it and hopefully get back on the wagon and get with it.

Here’s Kelton Burgi who came in for a senior session yesterday morning.

Senior Season is Here!

Friday, June 17th, 2011

Class of 2012 seniors pictures are in full swing.  I apologize that I haven’t been posting here on the blog as much as I’d like.  We’ve been super busy (but I have been posting on Facebook quite a bit – feel free to see more of our senior photos on Facebook by clicking here.

We shot a beautiful young lady today from Jackson High School in Jackson, Missouri by the name of Megan Lambert.  Here are a few favorites from this lovely young blonde’s senior session.

If you know a Class of 2012 senior, tell them to call soon because our calendar is filling fast (573-579-2129)

Class of 2012 – It Begins!

Sunday, May 15th, 2011

We just shot our first full 2012 senior session the other day (we’ve been shooting a lot of 2012 models over the past few months, but this is the first full-on session of the season).  I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am for all the new things we have in store this year.  New backdrops, new locations, new studio, new products!  It’s gonna be an AWESOME season.

Anyway, this is Tori Burton from Delta High School.  She ordered some of our new products, a 10×10 digital album and some of our mini accordion wallet books.  Both items are perfect for showing off your images to friends and relatives.

You can see a few of Tori’s album pages below.  If you would like to see the entire book, feel free to view it by clicking here.

Maggie and her Vinyl

Friday, March 18th, 2011

Maggie Thorn came in to the studio today.  In addition to being as beautiful as a greek goddess (see the B&W photo below), she’s also an amazing musician.  I mean it.  Keep an eye (and an ear) out for this girl. She’s going places.  Click here to check out Maggie’s music page on facebook.

Maggie brought in all of her dad’s old vinyl albums to the session so we came up with a few “vintagy” shots  that should make her papa proud (and ought to make the rest of us, who actually know what a record player is, feel really old).

On a separate note, don’t forget that the 50% off senior sale goes through until Sunday night.  Call or e-mail to book your senior session at 1/2 off the normal sitting fee prices.

I shot Jennifer Garner!

Thursday, March 10th, 2011

Well, not exactly.  But doesn’t this girl look just like her?  This is Kayla Kuehn from Ste. Genevieve High School and she came in to our studio for a session yesterday.  I think the resemblance is uncanny.  I told her she could win a look-a-like competition.  She said she gets that a lot.

Lots of Models!

Friday, February 25th, 2011

We’re gearing up for senior season (it will be here before you know it).  So right now we’re shooting lots of models (like 2 per day), getting some new images for our website and figuring the ins and outs of our new shooting space.  It’s gonna be an exciting season!  Here are a few shots from this week.  (Jessica Snider from Dexter, Mallory Tucker from St. Vincent in Perryville and Emily Niswonger also from St. Vincent)
