One VERY “HOT” senior girl!

Tuesday, August 16th, 2011

Taylor Bollinger is certainly a beautiful young lady, but that’s not what I mean by “hot” (that would be terribly inappropriate and a little creepy).  What I mean is that we had a 115 degree heat index during Taylor’s session so she was, indeed, one VERY “HOT” senior girl.

Even through the heat, she was toughing it out, and we had a great session with some really unique images.

Here are a few favorites from Taylor’s session.

Hocky Don

Monday, July 26th, 2010

Don Perry came over for his senior session this morning. Don’s an avid hockey fan and a devoted player. So it’s no surprise that over half of his images incorporated hockey into them.

Here’s some favorites from Don’s session today.

2011 High School Senior – Bailey McDowell

Monday, June 28th, 2010

We shot Bailey’s senior session this morning and despite the heat, we really had an awesome session.  Lots of locations, lots of outfits, lots of killer shots.  I must say, Bailey is a great sport (as is her mother).  We even did a little trash the prom dress.  Shelly, thanks so much for walking barefoot in the creek and holding my lights and stuff.  You’re awesome.  Bailey, you rock too!

Here are 2 of my favorites from the session this morning (P.S. Bailey’s grandfather built that cross – pretty awesome, huh?)

JHS Cheerleaders

Sunday, March 21st, 2010

The JHS Cheerleading Squad came over for a session this evening.  What a blast we had, and although my son is only 2, I’m pretty sure he’s in love with at least 4 or 5 of them.

Here’s a little sneak peek from their session.

Red head and her red corvette!

Tuesday, February 9th, 2010

This is Stephanie Smith.  We shot her session back in October of last year, but I realized just the other day, I hadn’t posted any of her pictures on my blog.  And that’s a shame cause there’s some really unique shots in here.  It’s not every day that you get a girl this fun, with hair this red and this curly along side a car this cool!

The car you see in the pictures below is a one of a kind 1973 Motion Manta Ray Corvette.  It actually belongs to Stephanie’s grandfather, Rayburn Pennington.  It was one of only three ever built and this one is the only known survivor of those three in the entire world.  So pretty cool, right?  You can read more about the car by clicking here.

But enough about the car.  Here’s a few favorites from Stephanie’s session.

Some Senior Athletes

Saturday, December 5th, 2009

We’ve shot a lot of senior athletes this year . . . wait a minute . . . that makes it sound like we’ve shot 75 year old athletes.  Not exactly what I meant.

I’ll start again . . .  We’ve shot a lot of H.S. senior athletes this year.  Several in the past few weeks in fact.  Here is a small sampling of some of my favorite shots from our recent sessions.  (You’ll find each persons name under their photo).

Tractors, Trucks and Tyler

Saturday, November 28th, 2009

We went out to the farm with Tyler Seabaugh and got some pretty cool shots with his 4-wheeler and his truck and a barn and a grain bin and an old tractor and lots of other “boy-stuff”.  It was a great session.  Here’s a little peek at some of Tyler’s senior pictures.

Great sunset from tonight

Wednesday, November 25th, 2009

We shot Eric Law’s senior session this evening and we had the perfect sunset over the lake so we grabbed this shot before the sun went down completely.

A Boy and his guitars

Sunday, November 22nd, 2009

This is Casey Benefield.  We shot his session on Oct. 24 which turned out to be the perfect time this year for fall colors (In fact the leaves were all off the trees by Nov. 1).  It was a great session with a great young man.   This kid is just “one of those kids”.  Keep an eye on him because he’s definitely going places . . .  Super talented, great personality, friendly, well mannered.  Did I mention talented?  Man . . . you should hear this kid play guitar.  If you haven’t heard him, you should check him out some time.  His band is called “The Illustrated Man”.  Click here to check out their music on MySpace.  Perhaps he’ll let me shoot his album cover when he gets his first big record deal ;-)

Here are a few favorite images from Casey’s session (P.S.  Thanks to the guys down at Rude Dog Pub in Cape for letting us shoot there).

Some kind words from a recent client

Monday, October 19th, 2009

We shot a session for Ashleigh Lawson a few weeks ago and her mother recently e-mailed us some kind words that I thought I’d share here on the blog.  She writes:

—————————————

Just wanted to thank you for the excellent work you did with Ashleigh pictures.  The pictures are amazing and Ashleigh really enjoyed the whole experience from make-up & hair to the photo shoot. You would not believe the positive comments we have received from family & friends who have seen Ashleigh’s pictures. We have seen a lot of  Ashleigh’s friend’s senior pictures lately, some you did, some were done by other photographers and I can honestly say yours stand above them all. We have and will continue to sing your praises when the conversation allows.  You truly do excellent work!

-  Jeanette Lawson

————————————————

Thanks for the kind words Jeanette.  It was truly our pleasure.  Here are a few images from Ashleigh’s session.
