Caleb & Whitney are getting married in March. Yesterday, we had the honor of shooting their engagement session. What a fun couple. I’m so excited for the wedding.
Here’s a few favorites from their e-session.

This is Audrymae and she’s our first newborn of the New Year. (Well . . . she wasn’t born in the New Year, but she’s the first newborn we’ve shot in 2012). Anyway, we love to see our past wedding clients show up with a new addition, so it was our joy to photograph Jesse and Laura’s first born baby. (you may remember their wedding pictures from back in 2009 . . . if not, click here for a refresher).
Here’s a few favorites from little Audry’s session yesterday.

Ok – this is it. Our biggest sale of the year. Double your money gift cards. You pay $100 and we give you a $200 gift card. Pretty simple. You may purchase as many gift cards as you want, but you may only use one per session (see below for all terms and conditions).
Here’s the only catch. We’re only offering 50 gift cards this year. Once those 50 cards are gone, the offer ends. So get a jump on Black Friday. The sale starts today and continues until these 50 gift cards are gone (or until Sunday night at 11:59 . . . whichever comes first).
Buy one for yourself or buy one as a gift for a friend or family member (or both!). Need an updated family session? Do you know someone expecting a baby? Do you know any class of 2013 seniors? These gift cards don’t expire and they are so versatile!
Click the “Buy Now” button above to take advantage of the sale – (blog subscribers who receive this message in their inbox may need to visit the blog directly to place an order)
Because of the size of this sale, we prefer that you place your order right here through the blog, but if you have trouble ordering online, you may e-mail me (info@tysonzahnerphotography.com) with any questions or problems.
And remember, friends don’t let friends miss great deals (so be sure to spread the word to everyone you know!)

What would it mean to you to have no pictures of yourself with those you loved? What would it then mean to you to have ONE treasured picture for free during tragedy or heartache?
On Dec. 10, we’re providing free portraits to families and individuals in need. Visit Help-Portrait’s website for more information - http://help-portrait.com/
This year people in Cape Girardeau are giving families who have faced tragedy or misfortune something they otherwise might not have — a beautiful professional portrait of their family. We need only $2000 to serve hundreds of children and families 1 day, December 10th. Please consider a donation of $10, $25, or $50 to CAPE GIRARDEAU’S Help Portrait this year.
You can make a donation directly at this link - https://

Well – I’m not disgusted . . . quite the contrary when it comes to this wedding.
I love it when couples think about their scheduling ahead of time and leave us plenty of time on their wedding day to really be creative and set up cool shots, etc. Kyla and Kent were exactly one of those couples. They scheduled 90 minutes at sunset away from their guests (while most of their guests left the reception for evening mass) for a really awesome photo shoot.
So no, I wasn’t disgusted with them at all . . . . However, I do think the bride’s son might have been a bit disgusted with them.

We shot senior pictures for Maggie Thorn this week. Maggie is a super sweet, super beautiful and SUPER Talented young lady. If you have a chance to check out her facebook music page, take a minute and click here to give her a listen (you’ll be hooked – I guarantee it!)
I have a feeling you’ll be seeing Maggie’s name a whole lot more in the coming years.
Maggie, thanks for choosing Zahner Photography for your senior pictures. It was our honor to shoot them!

Do you know a Class of 2012 high school senior that hasn’t had their senior pictures made yet? If so, pass this information on to them RIGHT AWAY!
School’s back in session, but it’s not too late to get your senior pictures done. In fact, fall is our busiest time of year. The heat is subsiding, the days are getting shorter and the light is getting sweeter.
So we’re offering a 35% off Back to School special for any senior that gets their pictures made during the month of September. That’s right! Any session shot during the month of September will save 35% off of the session fee.
AND . . . if you call before next Friday, Sept. 2nd, we’ll give you an additional 15% off for a grand total of 50% off your sitting fee.
So don’t WAIT! Give us a call today and get your senior session on the books for the month of September and save BIG.

Taylor Bollinger is certainly a beautiful young lady, but that’s not what I mean by “hot” (that would be terribly inappropriate and a little creepy). What I mean is that we had a 115 degree heat index during Taylor’s session so she was, indeed, one VERY “HOT” senior girl.
Even through the heat, she was toughing it out, and we had a great session with some really unique images.
Here are a few favorites from Taylor’s session.
